West Side Road Whitefield #1

We undertook the important task of enhancing the driveway and surrounding grass area to ensure proper drainage. We began by removing large rocks and vegetation that had accumulated over time. After clearing the area, we focused on reshaping the driveway to optimize its function. To create a solid foundation, we placed over four inches of ledge pack, which was then shaped and compacted to provide stability and support. This careful attention to detail not only improved the aesthetics of the landscape but also significantly enhanced the drainage capabilities, preventing water accumulation and promoting a healthier environment for the grass nearby. Overall, the transformation met our customer's request for functionality and visual appeal.

West Side Road Whitefield #2

After the customer expressed their satisfaction with the first driveway project, they decided to enlist our services once more to enhance their Airbnb property. This new project involved removing several stumps and adding loam to facilitate a yard expansion, which not only improved aesthetics but also functionality. Additionally, we extended the driveway by approximately 15 feet, creating more parking space for guests. To address long-standing drainage issues, we dug a ditch between the cottage and the roadway, ensuring proper drainage that had been compromised over years of winter plowing. The result was a beautifully expanded driveway and yard that enhanced both the property’s appeal and utility for visitors.

Slate Ledge Road, Littleton

The 700-foot driveway begins with a steep incline, which then levels off to a more manageable grade as it approaches the residence. Recent heavy rains revealed significant issues, as water was unable to properly drain into the adjacent ditches, leading to extensive washouts that carved long, deep channels into the surface. To address these problems, the lower steep section was dredged and ditched using an excavator, and approximately 120 yards of ledge pack material were introduced to create a suitable slope for effective water runoff. The transformation is evident in the accompanying photos, showcasing the newly crowned driveway that promotes proper drainage, reducing the risk of future washouts and enhancing accessibility to the home.

Old East Road Whitefield

This recent driveway project marks another successful collaboration with a valued repeat customer. We efficiently removed several large rocks and cleared out the grass that obstructed the space. Once the area was prepped, we laid down a 3/4” ledge pack, creating a solid foundation for the driveway. This high-quality material ensures a durable and stable surface, perfect for both vehicles and foot traffic.

Mt. Carter Drive Gorham, NH

In late fall, the driveway installation project commenced, encompassing the removal of trees and stumps to create a clear path. Due to early winter snow, the project continued in early spring, a culvert was installed to ensure proper drainage, and the area was filled with bank run material, raising it to the desired grade. A top layer of 1 1/2” gravel that provided a stable surface.
